Use Rings that stack damage when you have full health, and are light, and then throw in the pontiff ring that does bonus damage, chloranthy for LULZ, and finally, DO NOT INFUSE IT, unless you are on a luck build then go for Hollow. It consists of wielding two weapons, a main-hand weapon in the weapon slot and an off-hand weapon in the shield slot. I've always been a 'vanilla' DS3 player and would do quality builds with a shield for leveling up.
